Pushcart Foundation selection of Blue Stone & Other Poems for Writer's Choice, 1986: "These poems seem at first quiet and well-mannered; then, as you pause to admire the craft, the craft vanishes and leaves you alone with startling apprehensions of loss and mortality and love." --Tobias Wolff |
